Kissing Your Children On The Lips? Experts Revealed The Effects On Children!

The internet is buzzing with the online debate about 'Is it right or wrong to kiss your kids on the lips?" after Victoria Beckham posted a photo of her and her daughter as she was kissing her in the lips. She captioned the photo, "Happy Birthday baby girl, we all love you so much.. Kisses from Mummy X." After the said post, netizens who are following the model and singer, started an intense debate whether what she's doing with her daughter is right or wrong.

Dr. Charlotte Reznick, a UCLA psychologist claims that parents who were kissing their children on the lips might bring confusion to them. He said, "If you start to kiss your kids on the mouth when they are young when do you stop? It's extremely confusing. At the age of 5-6 years old, children gets confused with their bodies and gender. A kiss on the lips can stimulate them."

However, a Psychologist from Sydney Child Psychology Center, Dr. Fiona Martin disagrees with that kind of perspective. She said "It is normal and healthy to show affection for your children, you are communicating to your children that you love them." Now for most netizens, the people online claims that there is nothing wrong with it but what bothers them is the age of the child.
